Around the yard area we previously dug 30cm deep 30cm wide swales which are designed to capture any increased surface water runoff coming from the barn and yard area, these are now filled with stone
Top soil is removed from the barn and yard area
Top soil from the barn area is used to create a hedge bank around the yard area
Once the top soil is removed the site is resurveyed
The location of the poles is marked and the digger sets to work again
