Sweetcorn harvest

This week the ripening sweetcorn has been receiving the attention of our resident badger. A number of plants have been trampled to the ground and the corn has been eaten. We are taking the badgers approval as a sign that it is time to harvest, so this week every box will be getting a treat of fresh sweetcorn. Although the corns are only small they are very sweet. For best results we recomend that you eat them as soon as possible before the sugar turns to starch.
